One day, two dresses

The day started with christian ceremony in the south loop followed by hindu rites at the Harold Washington Library. Everyone was pretty relaxed the second time around. Guests were treated to mango martinis followed by a delicious banquet from Indian Garden.

Portrait Rewards

After each 'in studio' photo session, I usually have warm baked cookies for the kiddies. Modeling is hard work, you know!

(wrapping yourself in your favorite blanket helps...as well as being wrapped in mom's arms).

Great Match

This event was a great match for me!  Once again, I had the honor of covering Great Wine Match 2009 held at Tree Studios.  The evening's festivities included over 200 spanish wines paired with the most delectable tapas made by 6 of Chicago's top Chefs.  Even the Minister of Spain stopped by.  

The best part?  All proceeds went to The Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Wild Weddings

If you have a few minutes, check out this week's episode of Wild Weddings Friday, May 1st at 9:00pm ET/PT.  It will showcase our work from one of our favorite weddings where a well known (Emmy winning) videographer actually fell backwards into the baptismal font while filming the recessional.  It's OK-he laughed about it too.

Baby Nathan

Welcome newest member of the Ryan family!  I had the privilege of photographing my young nephew on a recent cold and rainy Sunday. What better way to spend time!  He's shown here at 9 months, which is a great age to capture smiles and expressions.  Oh, and he's not walking yet-a plus when shooting in studio ; )
